The Fifth Chakra is known as the Throat Chakra, because it is located at the base of the throat, in the area of ​​the larynx. It is the energy center where each of us can express their thoughts clearly and courageously. and confidently confide in others.

Its main functions are related to the sphere of communication, creative expression, diplomacy, and sincerity. This Chakra represents what you have inside, what you consider true, your thoughts, feelings, values, ideas, intuitions. personal, and through him, including life and going outside. It is related to all forms of self-expression, not just the word. Your voice, but it is useful in all forms of communication such as self-expression through art, music, science, and all creative forms.

The Throat Chakra is associated with the blue color of the sky and the sea. It is a color that traditionally symbolizes truth, purity, cleanliness, and tranquility. The Sanskrit word for this Chakra is Vishuddha, which means “pure place”.

When it is in balance, the fifth Chakra gives a sweet voice, we can express ourselves clearly, harmoniously, and with an adequate property of language, our speeches are simple, understandable, and never offensive. We have a diplomatic attitude, and we approach others with great tact. We reach the heart of the listener, and we acquire charisma and personal magnetism. I am sure that you are well aware that expressing yourself correctly is not always so easy, confusions and misunderstandings are always lurking. The poor husband feels embarrassed about the answer, better it is not simple, and you need the right touch and a lot of common sense.  

Children are an excellent example of sincerity and honesty. They always express, what they think, but growing up, that childish frankness is inevitably lost. What Happens When the Throat Chakra is Blocked?

The second thing you need to keep in mind is that repressing thoughts and feelings is harmful and causes serious negative consequences. When you don’t express something that you feel the need to express, you simply hurt yourself. This does not mean that you have to say always, and in any case, everything that goes through your mind, regardless of who you are facing or the situation in which you find yourself. Of course, it is very important to choose the words carefully and find the right way to express yourself. In the long run, give up expressing yourself, will cause you to lie both to yourself and other people. 

Unblock Throat Chakra

It will become impossible to say “no”, even if you consider it necessary, and you will find yourself in a negative and dangerous spiral that will lead you to avoid facing reality. It will become increasingly difficult, to reflect on your feelings and, consequently, externalize them. You will close in on yourself, denying your emotions the right to exist. You will try to avoid the conflict with the opinions, true to always guarantee the approval of people, you will only talk about frivolous and superficial topics.  

Consequences of Chakra Imbalance

The fear of speaking, the difficulty in expressing yourself and getting your voice out, leads to excessive shyness, and the strong feeling of not having the right to speak and listen to the truth, even to the denial of one’s interiority. The consequences will be the tendency to obsessively avoiding social contact, strong introversion, laziness, indifference, and resistance to change. Paradoxically, some people with an imbalance at the height of the fifth Chakra, on the other hand, talk a lot, and regularly until they appear to be worn out. Real opinions behind false lies and generally offer no possibility of replication.

The physical ailments caused by an imbalance in this energy area are recognizable in thyroid disorders, bronchitis, otitis, asthma, tonsillitis, hearing problems, laryngitis, and mouth ulcers. Hoarseness, raising, lowering, or exhaustion of the voice, speech disturbances, like, stuttering are also causing of this ailment.

Express yourself 

Every time you find yourself in a situation where you would like to express yourself, or are asked to do it, you will feel frustrated, and you will not find words right. You will be attacked by the fear of appearing ridiculous and out of place, without, because certain fears are only in your head and you are avoiding expressing yourself, for fear of something that in all probability will never happen.
